hi
i belong to North India, holi is a festival of colours. it is celebrated to mark the victory of good over evil. it is celebrated by first burning a bonfire and then the next moring people colour each other. many kinds of sweets are prepared. people wear new clothes in the evening and visit friends and relatives.
it is said that people forget all differences and come together to enjoy the festival.
