| |  The most famous universities that are strong in computer science engineering in the US are of course Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Stanford, UC Berkley and Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). Recently there are also many universities that have invested more in their computer science department and become competitive with those four giants, like UIUC, UC San Diego, Princeton, Northwest and many more.
