Skin-So-Soft Bath Oil  |

 Did youall know that Skin-So-Soft Bath Oil is good insect repellant? I think most people know this by now but there are still a few people who don't. I learned this when I sold Avon several years ago. It is also good to prevent sunburn. It's also good for arthritis and many other things. It is also good to keep fleas off of dogs and cats. I have been using it to keep the flies off of all the horses I've had for years. We also use it on the horses out at the therapeutic riding center where I volunteer. You have to get it from an Avon lady, though. If you check with your veterinarian, he or she will tell you that most essential oils are often poisonous to dogs and cats. Skin So Soft is not safe for use on dogs and cats! Please don't do this! You pet could become very ill.
Do use the Skin So Soft product on yourself if you like. It does work well against insects. I personally don't really like the smell of the stuff very much but some people do. Try it out but don't use it on your pets! Dawn dish dertergent is a much cheaper and safer way to help your pet fight fleas if you can't afford the flea treatments prescribed by veterinarians.

Like I said, we use it on the horses out at the therapeutic riding center where I volunteer and it doesn't bother them. I have also used it on the horses I have raised and I never had any problems with it. I was always a little bit afraid to use it on a cat, though, because I know how they lick themselves all the time. I was afraid it wouldn't be good for him for this reason. The bugs are terrible here. I have to load on the bug spray just to walk out on my patio and not get attacked by them. It's awful.
