NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.... where do you watch the games...

Detroit Red Wings vs Pittsburg Penguins.... where is the best place to watch the Playoffs??....
1) at home:.... hmm, convenience of your own bathroom... instant replays... dont have to wait in the long line of cars to get out of that parking lot... 
2) at a sports bar:..... well, you are surrounded with other fans, you get to order food and you dont have to clean up afterwards.... and still the drive home may not be so bad.....
3) at the game itself:..... oh yeah, loud auditorium, surrounded by serious fans screaming, ok, long lines in the public restrooms and very very expensive drinks and food.....
what would be your pick?? where do you watch the big playoff games??... feel free to say what other benefits are where you watch the games as well (any play off games not just hockey)...

I like being at the arena best. There's nothing like the feel of the crowd, being a part of the mob and just sitting back and enjoying the game. That's if you're a fan of any of the teams playing anyway. Even being the visiting fan is quite fun. But it doesn't really work if you're not a fan of either team. For that I like to be at home. Being a hockey fan first I enjoy watching all teams play. Sit back and enjoy the great game that it is. Like last night. There are only two teams in the league I can't stand and they both happened to be playing in the cup finals. But I was still able to sit back and enjoy a great game! It gives you a new perspective as well, being the unbiased eye, like studying almost. Disecting the game. It's also fun.

I am sorry you dont like either one of the teams in the playoffs... but at least you get to enjoy the hockey game for another week until someone wins!!

For playoff hockey, you would definitely want to watch it live, the energy is unbelievable. Bad thing is, so are the ticket prices even if you have season tickets.

There is no place like home, I can se all the replays and I can go to my own bathroom. Besides my favotite team is in Detriot and I am in D.C.

Yay... A WINGS Fan!!!
I agree ...I love to watch the game at home... I love the instant replays and I like to hear the announcers talk during the game...LOL

i don't watch sports at all but ones that do i hope they enjoy the day where ever they watch from.hope your team wims.

I have been to the actual games before... long parking lines afterward...
I have been to sports bars....lots of fun!!!
and I am home now watching GAME 1 of the playoffs tonight while mylotting!! LOL
