What kind of music you will choose,if you are sad or feeling depressed?  

It depends on whether I wanna get rid of those feelings or not... Sometimes I just feel like letting go of all the negtive thoughts I've been gatehring inside by crying, then I choose some type of songs that best describe the mood I'm having at the moment, until I'm more relaxed.
If I wanna change my mood I'll just put something with a cheerful rhythm and lyrics, something that always makes me smile. It's not only a type of music, it depends on the song mostly. And it depends on every person, too.
I like anime, like Naruto and Ouran Host Club, so when I feel down I always listen to some soundtracks from these 2 and they always improve my mood no matter how bad I feel.

i would pick rock music too it does make me feel better than some of the other kinds of music

Hi tuyakiki...If I am sad or depressed I too will listen to rock music. I like the old beach boys and songs from that era. They always seem to get me back on track and in a good mood because they bring back alot of good memories.

My husband says he likes to listen to a comedy tape becasue that always gets him laughing and soon he has forgotten that he was in a bad mood....lol

i would choose hip hop music or songs,especially the hip hop songs sung by YOGI B. and his crew.all of his songs are really great and they give a boost to your enthusiasm.i really love his songs.

Same is here too. I choose for rock music and heavy metal. It cheered me up. And I also feel relaxed after listening to such a music. I love listening to music...It helps me to feel better..This is known as music theraphy.

When depressed about love life, I kinda like to listen to love songs which can relate to my present situation. It's weird as it only adds up to my depression. LOL. Usually, I don't want to hear anything. I just want to be alone and in the dark.

Well usually I listen to rock music and keep myself busy all the time because each time I listen to a love song it will just make me cry..

I always love to listen to the music of A.R.Rahman. When I'm sad or depressed, I use to listen to some patriotic songs. This will give me more energy and confidence which will let me come out of my sorrows!

Incubus' music has always made feel better when I am feeling down. Their music has this relaxing underground water sound to it. It just makes you feel like your inside water and you can never drown. But when I feel angry I like to listen to Rage Against the Machine or Nirvana, sometimes even Tool. But Tool's music can be depressing as well. Nine Inch Nails also has music that one can relate when they're feeling sad.
