There is no guarantee what happens when. The worst things can happen inevitably in a moment. After we have lived here, any thing can happen, a big earthquake may occur, the serious accidents may happen to a dear person in life and even end the life letting us in despair. There are numerous such example that show how insecure we are in this world. A person that was very very happy a just few seconds before can burst into big tears with certain bad news and look how the expression of his face changes with that. Well this is the nature of life, laughing on and on, we don't know when will we have to cry? How much ready are you to cope such unconditional sufferings in your life and how secure do you think our life is?

Hi Nzalheart, you are right that our lives can change in an instant. Last year, I was very sad to hear the great earthquake destroying Sichuan, China on 12 May. I pitied those tourists that perished in the earthquake. They didn't even stay there permanently, and they were there just for a few days of relaxation. I was fortunate to visit in earlier years, been there 4 times, and loved the place very much. I know that Sichuan is a place plagued with earthquakes, a number of minor quakes happened throughout the year, fortunately never in those times that I chose to visit. Anyway, knowing that anything can happen, we have to make use of our time and energy, and to plan for the time when we are no longer around, so that our families do not fall into financial difficulties.

Hi Scheng1, earthquake does not see which city is beautiful and which city is ugly. And you mentioned about the early predictions to keep us safe. Let me share you a story that happened about 2 years ago in Kathmandu. There was a Baba, called Trishul Baba who used to claim himself as the messenger of god. He had predicted before about 2 months that on a specific date earthquake would occur in Kathmandu valley while no any scientific symptom was there. Many people believed him, the day inevitably came, and many of the people had reached Tundikhel the wide open area in the heart of Kathmandu. They stood there and waited for the earthquake to occur along with the Trishul Baba. Most of the people had involved themselves in donations thinking that their life is in near end. As they waited and waited. But no earthquake occurred hehe...Then the furious people even tried to beat up the Baba, scolded him, this and that. The Baba became the center of insult. It is said that this Baba had been caring many sick people with the supernatural powers. But he was wrong in the prediction. May be he was really innocent, he might have felt something like that to happen, but it did not happen. So what's the moral is...Laugh out loud lol...

Yeah, I think he must have done that. People in Nepal highly believe in superstitious things and so that task would not be difficult at all.

haha Nzal, this guy is rather stupid oh. He should prepare a plan B, such as asking the people to do this or that, then the Heaven may re-consider using the earthquake to punish people oh. If the earthquake comes, he's right. If the earthquake never comes, he can thank Heaven for sparing the lives of innocent people, and ask those people to continue to do good, else Heaven will use earthquake oh.

You right, nothing is secure your life can be perfect for you one second, then bam something beyound you control changes everything but when that happends we should not stop living our lives. We should all strive to do our best, be kind to others and when life knocks you down, find the strength to get back up.

You are right, that was encouraging. No matter whatever life brings in, we should learn to accept them and should not stop living our lives. So, I insist of being prepared mentally every time knowing that whatever can happen at any second of the future... Thanks for your response...Happy mylotting...

Hey, Well I don't really think that life is secure, I don't actually think that anyone's life is secure. Some people may be alive and healthy one day, and the next day they could be really sick and might actually die possibly. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

In this day and age I don't believe anyones life can be secure. Things change each and everyday, moment, week, month. One day I was at work the next day I was out of a job due to 9/11. People now adays don't know if they will have a job tomorrow due to the economy. There are to many natural diasters that happen now adays. One day you can have a beautiful house the next its totally gone. To me nothing is secure. Its all in Gods hands and we can just pray and hope for the best!
