Thank god i don't use a handkerchief, i prefer paper tissues.Or else i could have made that mistake.

I do not know about this and I am glad it did not happen to me. I used to have a handkerchief always with me and it is not in my underwear. Cheers!!

Hmm, can't say it's ever happened to me or anyone I know, but I suppose in the laundry there is a slight chance underwear may get caught in a pocket... I have had socks caught inside my pants and when I put on the pants I notice a bulge and can pull out a sock up my pants leg. I guess if I pulled out underwear by mistake I would be embarrassed if anyone saw it and quickly try to put away the underwear someplace such as back in my pocket or my purse. I don't know. I don't think there is a high chance of this happening to me, thank goodness!
