Is it wrong to use a keylogger to see what your kids and spouse are doing online

I need some opinions. If someone thinks their spouse is cheating on them and wanted to get some proof, would it be wrong for them to install a keylogger and see who they are emailing and what they are doing online when you're not home? What if you are worried that your children may be talking to online predators OR posting inappropriate pictures of themselves online. Is it wrong in that case to use a keylogger to see what they are doing and who they are talking to? On the one had, it seems like it would be an invasion of privacy... but on the other hand, wouldn't you want to know? There are various types of keyloggers I learned about here: http://www.keyloggerreview.com Some are easily detectable... some are not. What do you think?

Dear friend, If it is for positive purpose it is well and good. Before going into further danger it would be better take more precautions. Mostly if parents do have a better idea what their child is doing it could help them a lot to make that child better. If spouse is cheating it is better find earlier than getting it worst. I feel there is nothing to hide from spouse even if there are keylogger it will not be problem. Before getting cheated it would be better to find if any such things arise.

I think even if there is a small suspicion with your kids, since in many cases, they don't know that what they're doing is either wrong or maybe even dangerous. As far as a spouse is concerned, that's a little different. I would think you should have a very strong suspicion. If you are wrong and you accuse, it coud ruin your marriage.
