Is Your Home Secure?Do you feel in scurity in your home?

i do feel safe in my own home, i dont use the keys to lock the door when we are in all of the time but do lock it of a night as my door has two locks a dead bolt type mortis lock that is key operated and a yale latch lock that you open from the inside with a turn button.

security is crucial to live peacefully. some people spend a lot of money to make their homes secure. they even pay for someone just to guard their homes. in my case, i live in a good community where people know each other. i think it is important that one knows her/his neighbor. i just lock my door when i leave or sleep. i feel safe inside my home. and even inside my community.

there is no need of security lock system in our place, most of the time we open the door in the house, only in nights we will close the door and due to monkeys we have closed the doors in day times.

i feel secure in my home i have no reason not to.i don't have any kind of system but my dog she lets me know when any one or anything comes around she wouldn't hurt anyone but every body don't know this.

I do feel secure at home. I don't have any security system at all. My dogs are watch dogs, means they need to be watch...
Very often I sleep with door not locked. I don't lock my car either....

Right now I don't feel secure in my apartment, I have heard on the news about people braking in other people homes, just to get money, so what I did was buy me a door guard and a door alarm, and when I get them in the mail, I will use the because you can't trust people any more, I have had my apartment broke into, when I was living some where else, it was someone who knew my son, they stole my cam corder and my home home, and his playstation and games, I hide my computer so they couldn't steal that it was a laptop, I just don't trust people anymore.

I have two alarms, I keep one in the kitchen and one by my bedside unless I am leaving the house and I take that one with me. If someone walks in my home when I am here its unlikely they will get out uninjured.

Yes, I have always felt quite secure in my home. As it is, we don’t see much robbery around here in Calcutta though sporadic incidents are always blown out of proportion. The front door has three locks so I put them all on before retiring and the main entrance to the building has two locks, so I do feel safe. In any case, if indeed somebody planned a robbery, locks would not be of much help as they always know how to ‘unlock’ them

My husband and I live in a basement apartment in a building that one has to buzz into, if they don't have a key. Sometimes there is a problem with the lock on the front door, that people from the lobby can get into the building, but when I mention these problems to my landlady, they usually get fixed right away.
