What is a good alternative med for anxiety  | | What type of alternative med would you say is good for anxiety? I am looking for something that could be either herbal or a vitamin.

Good herbs for anxiety are Ginseng, Catnip, Ginger, Lemon balm and Chamomile. Also, Neurofeedback Training is also excellent for anxiety disorders.
So, get a cup of Chamomile tea, put on some Vivaldi, and google image search the words "Smiling faces". In about 20 minutes you will feel like a new person.
Also avoid the news and spend a few minutes every day counting your blessings and thinking of things to be grateful for. It's amazing how much better you can feel when you simply change your perceptions. Sometimes we get so caught up in the moment we forget all the good things in our lives. Taking the time to be grateful for your life will do much to calm fears.
Finally, if you pray, spend time each night before you fall asleep praying. Pour out your heart and you will find you actually sleep better. I know when I pray before I sleep I always wake up feeling more rested.
