i am a new member at allvoices. i find it pretty cool, but don't know if they pay or not. i think the 'catch' - if there is one - is that the community is still relatively small, so it's hard to make 10000 pageviews (which gives you only 25 cents), therefore not everyone can reach payout so quickly.

as i already mentioned in another discussion here, if we all join and support each other, let's see what happens! (if anyone wants to contact me there, or read my articles, i am under the username deegeez). some of the articles are very well-written, and informative, but others are ridiculous and useless! that is the only downside. nobody seems o police the spammers or the ones who try to take advantage of the system.
