I want to say that my job make me use my brain, and sometimes i am so tired, with a head ache ...but when i work in my garden...i have a good mood, and i can sleep so easy, no dreams, nothing.
Do you think that is more harder to work with brain or with arms?
What you prefear?

It is harder for me to work with brains most of the time. I feel easier to be tired in using my brain and i do admit that i avoid some deep and long debates. It is good to exercise our brain time to time to keep us keep active and going. Too much use of our brain make us become stressful and getting tired mentally is exhausting.
I prefer to use arms if ever it is possible only to use it without using brain.
I also think that mental and physical are combination and we use both of these.

I think that using your brains tires you more, but this alone probably won't result in an easy night's sleep. I think that using your brain power in the office and then having something to detach you completely from your work life will help you feel less exhausted.
Combining the two, brauns and brains probably lead to a healthier lifestyle and leaves you tired in the good way; where you get a proper good night's sleep.
Half of the time, I am too tired when I come home to partake in any housework but then find it very difficult to sleep in the evening. I am sluggish the next day until the next evening when it is time to go back to bed, then I am awake again.
But if I do a daily workout, I sleep easy and don't feel so lathargic throughout the day.

I have some problems with physical movement, and also with my eyes, so anything I can do with my brain, and as little movement as possible, is wonderful. That's one of the main reasons why I spend so much time sitting infront of my computer. I can see my screen because it's close up (I use a laptop) and I can stay in one place while I work.

I used to love trying to combine the 2. A good physical work that still let me think about my next few moves: I think that is the appeal to most sports! Lately, though, I have had so may health problems I don't usually feel like using my brain or muscles. I guess that's why I'm typing here on MyLot

I love using my brain from time to time. I love debates, arguments, discussion with my brother about school works, assignments, who is the best singer, writer, what is the best nba team, pba team, and so on. The brain need exercises time to time to maintain its sharpness. Eating foods that makes it healthy should be keep in mind.
For me it is harder to work with brain sometimes. When you are overusing your brain, you will be stressed out, and if that happens everyday and always, there maybe a possibility that you may have disorder with your brain. What i do is refresh sometimes, relax and breath, have a sleep and eat vegetables, fruits and avoid smoking to keep me going.

Perfect would when you are doing something with your hands that involves good concentration with your mind.
Personally i would prefer more mental work than physical. My day starts with 3 hours soccer practice so give me a mental problem anytime of the day but physical work is kind of hard when you are already a bit tired.
I think your love for gardening is responsible for your good mood, not that you are not using your mind when you work in there. It can be considered as something that lifts you up. We all ahve soething that we love to do so much so that it starts being therapeutic .. I think same thing is happeneing with you and gardening. You should use it to make your work more fun. If you are stuck on something in your job, it would be good if you went out for a walk and did some gardening in you garden, then go back to work again. You will feel much better.
