Surfing for traffic?

Hi, this is my second day of using mylot. Today i see there is $0.04 in my earnings. The earnings is about $0.01 per respond, i am not sure whether it is worth to just spare entire time to only respond and post the discussion. But i view this is an extra income for me, maybe for some entertaintment prupose. Have you received any income from mylot before?

Me, yes....Yeah true, we all need each other to be successful here on mylot.I have been here for almost months and got a few cents.I am not getting active.But now i am trying to get active in everything, only sometimes that i run out of ideas to share with all.lol. happy mylotting everyone.

Right I am going to go against the grain and say that surf sites are a waste of time. For me I want visitors to come to my site, browse and perform an action be it clicking on a link or signing up to a site. In my experience surf sites only brings foot fall to your homepage and then they clear off without doing anything. Yes your stats may look great with a high number of visitors and your ego gets a boost but have you really achieved anything by getting these visitors if they don't perform an action.

In my humble opinion, the best way to get traffic is to spend the time optimizing your site so that you get visitors who are searching for information which your site contains. This sort of traffic are more likely to perform an action which I would imagine is what you want and also most likely to make you money.

The other thing you can do to improve traffic is to read blogs within your niche and leave relevant and interesting comments along with your link. This way you have a chance of picking up visitors who are already interested in your niche.
