what type of computer do you prefer  

I like HP's more..lol..i dont really care about design, i just want a computer wherein i can program and do my stuff at ease..Have a nice day..:D

Up my own desktop. I am free to choose the hardware that I need (motherboard, proccessor, RAM, video card, sound card, etc). I also use a Fujitsu laptop brand.

Untill last month I used a PC and always got a bit confused by Macs but I got a Macbook from my university and am converted to Macs! Everything on the Mac just makes sense, I really don't like PCs now even though I have used them for years.

Well I use PC so definitely I would vote for PCs. Because they are easier to upgrade and everything since more compatible parts are available PLUS we can get more softwares for PCs than Mac. But in terms of reliability, I will definitely vote for Macs :)

What does the RAM have to do with Macs? You can always add more RAM if you want to. Macs have great design, but Mac OS is giving some limitations to more advanced users (don't get me wrong, you can do whatever you want on Mac OS, but it isn't as simple as in Windows or in Linux). I don't buy brand name PC's because I choose the components by myself and because of it I can choose way better and quality hardware. Of course, for notebook I will choose brand name, but for desktop PC I will never do that... Happy mylotting and take care!
