I was in the same fix few months ago. My case was a little different than yours.
I used to feel inferior in my group as they were novel freaks, and were fond of reading newspapers and articles.
So, I started with newspaper..and it did help me significantly. I learnt new words, their use and all.

As you say, you read english everyday, I suggest you to "use" it while conversing with your friends or start writing..like maintaining a diary.

Well as has been said reading helps.

The fact you like the language helps - and then knowing that learning a language is not easy for many people. The fact is your trying and that's what it's all about. When you write, try to throw in a new word here and there and strive for something new because it's only when you become ambitious that we start to expand our horizons

You wrote a question in english and I can see what you mean but at the same time I know what you mean> i can read what you say. You only improve with practice. You've come far, you just have to relax and let nature take it's course.

In a 6 months, a year etc - you will keep improving if you strive (keep trying) to improve
