Hello... I am thinking of something to do with my life, as I am now 49 and just work! I have always been interested in kayaking, even as a young girl. I live in southern california and are very familiar with the beaches. I now have an interest in starting up kayaking and don't really know the basis. I was thinking that maybe I should start with something small. So today I went to the Sports Chalet and found a blow-up kayak that sold for 279.00 on sale. I was a bit leary on buying it as I don't want to buy something and then find out it is worthless. Or better yet, can I actually do it. So I guess what I am looking for is some information from someone who knows about this sports and can give me some step by step advise like what to buy, where is a good place for me to go and any other information that my be helpful.
