4th of July! What are you doing

So this year I have a 3 day weekend for the 4th of July (we get the third off) I want to do something cool that is relatively inexpensive. I live in the Dallas area, and I have thought about going up to Texoma. Anyone have any cool ideas on how to celebrate around this area. Unique ideas are welcome. What are you doing?

We are hosting a 4th of July party, we are going to rent two wet bounce houses for the kids, one will be for older kids and well adults and one for younger kids.
there will be lots of bbq, ribs, chicken and lots of side dishes as well.
the night will end with fireworks..

That sounds like a lot of fun. If I had ahouse that would be a great idea. My kids love bounce houses! Unfortunately I don't think my apartment complex would be very appreciative of it. Have a lot of fun!

i am not sure what i am doing 4th july... that is still a couple of weeks away.
i hope i will be doing something fun though... maybe having some drinks and looking at fireworks.. and it would be awesome if i was kissing someone lol but hopefully i just don't end up sitting at home being bored. i just wanna go out and have some fun and look at the fireworks. maybe take some photos of them..
