i would like to know what y'all are doing out there to reduce your carbon footprint, and to help to preserve the planet for your progeny so that they do not suffer on a barren unsafe planet. every little bit counts so, even if all you are doing is recycling your bags or switching off switches, please let me know. i am interested. i am doing the following:
-using reusable bags when shopping
-recycling cans, plastic and paper
-car pooling or using public transport
-switching off switches when we are not in the room
-only using lights when absolutely necessary
-disconnecting appliances overnight
-when i am on the computer i turn off the tv

coolness, thanks for responding i was beginning to wonder....i actuall y disconnect the tv too when i go to bed. it can be a nuisance getting the cable box started in the morning but it is totally worth it. and just lately i just sit and read during the day as opposed to watching tv.

Hello mamabear, i am from india, i recycle bags, swichoff lites, use public transport. Also each staff of my college had planted a tree on the side of the road that connects the main street to the last college where i worked, but the municipal authority cut them all in the name of road expansion, i felt so sad..
i am not going to do any thing..
Thanks for sharing.
Welcome always.
Cheers.
