Anyone travel to the New England states before?

I'm trying to plan some kind of vacation this summer. I was wondering if anyone has ever vacation to New England before? I know the area consists of the states, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine. It's very confusing trying to pick which state to travel to. If anyone has ever traveled there before I'd love to hear about where you stayed and what you liked about it.

i have no choice,i'm in it LOL i'd stay out of rhode island if i was anybody right now though.it's going broke and taxing EVERYTHING.our roads are in deplorable shape..the bridges aren't much better.

Yeah, I did read some information on the internet that a lot of Rhode Island needed some major work done. Thanks for the tip.

that's putting it mildly,believe me there was a guy here that planted a tree in a pothole to prove a point.. welcome:)
