it's cute!maybe they've known each other since they were babies.a cat and a dog can become friends,especially if they grow up in the same household.it's good to know that 2 animals deemed as "rivals" can become friends.it is a lesson of humility and acceptance.

Of course they can be friends with each other. If they feel love from us they will learn to love anything that you love. If they see what is important to you, they will learn to love that thing too.
