How many have tried or even heard of the raw food diet? My Doctor has suggested that I give this a try to improve my health. I have just started researching it and don't know if I can do it. I need some help from anyone who knows anything about this, please.

I've seen specials on TV of people who embrace raw food eating, right down to eating raw meat! Now eating raw meat can be dangerous. I would not do that, but I do love raw fruits and veggies. The only trouble with going "raw" would be that it would leave out some very important foods, like beans.
If it were me, I would go raw with caution, as raw food can be very hard on the digestive system at first. You could try going that way gradually, or doing it half and half. My brother, each morning for breakfast, mixes raw oats with unsweetened applesauce. For me, it just plays too much havoc trying to digest it, as I have GERD and IBS.
That is the extent of my knowledge on that! LOL
Best wishes,
Karen
