most work from home are scams? are you not tired?

Hi andresimp, yes I hate these stupid websites. I did never and will never invest because you cannot know if you will make profit and you may get scammed at the end. I have couple of banners on my profile that are not scam but till now they do not pay a lot and best website for earning is myLot. Have a great day!

The internet can be a very positive thing or a very negative thing. You have to be smart when deciphering if what you are reading and seeing is the truth or not. There have been scammers since the beginning of time. There are always people who fall for them. Scammers prey on people who are looking to get rich quick or who are looking for a miracle cure for a health problem or cleaning problem, etc. Anything that sounds too good to be true is probably not true. As far as PTC sites go, many of them don't start out to be scams but they find that expenses far outweigh the income and profits. Thus they sort of "go bankrupt" or "out-of-business". Sure, there are those dishonest people who start out the sites as a scam, cleverly disguised, and suck in a lot of unaware and naieve people. It is not always easy to tell if a site is going to prove to be honest, legit and sustaining. As the saying goes, "you should not put all your eggs in one basket" meaning that you should not just count on one site to spend all your time and effort at, you should spread your time and efforts around, thus having better odds for success. Again, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't and not worth your efforts and time.

We cannot avoid those people who will try to make money out of other people specially the new ones. I will say that it's really part of this exciting journey in the online world of jobs and businesses. We could probably just charge it to experience when something like that happens.

Patience is a big factor when doing online jobs and businesses cause we'll never know when are we gonna find the right one for us. So far I rarely bump into online scams, the worst thing that happened was when my computer crashed because of this PTC site that has a lot of viruses.

From then on, I asked advice from fellow mylotters and suggested me to have at least two anti-virus on my computer. So far, it really helps and everything's going smoothly again.

First of all, if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. A skunk covered in flowers is still a skunk.

I have wasted a lot of money online on "get rich quick" ideas and making money sites. I think what is really important that scam and the "oh my god, I have to work at this" shock are differentiated.

If you purchase a membership to a site that has claims to income of $1000 a day without lifting a finger and then you login an realize that you have to lift a finger, then you have been duped and scammed. If the site was right up front with you and said that they would teach you how to make money online, but you would have to put in some time and possibly money, then this particular site is not a scam because they were up front with you right from the start.

I have tried the PTC sites and other similar things, the biggest problem I have found is there is no real money in them unless you are really good at promoting which takes time that you could be using to promote something else and make better money or you spend all day at your computer clicking on links and such. I don't have time for that anymore either.

I also became sick for this one.Making money its also very difficult for me....its mine the enough money to earn.I didn't talk about very big money.I do believe most work from home are scams.I still searching every day and i do believe will find.I think the most work from home is sell just membership and they didn't sell a link to job for making money online.Most work from home its just to difficult....But why i must to give up? all already spend a thousands of hours and I will continue...

I am surely tired... But sometimes you can't help coming online to earn money. I mean like I am in this deadly need of money so the first thing that came to my mind was to turn to online earning. There are many scams but the thing that was really disheartening in my online experience is that ciao banned the international members all of a sudden. I mean that was not a professional way of delaing with the problem. Anywasy that site is cloed now so no point in beating around the bush. I stay away from PTCs after my bad expeirence with bux.to. I accumulated $12.5 there which were never paid to me. Occupex also closed down as soon as I was about to get my cashout. But surely most work form homes are scams. despite of the fact that there are millions of online working opportunities available one really has to make a thorough research to find the real and the genuine ones.. GLad that mylot is one of them..

Fortunately I have not been a victim of any scam activity. I think it's because of the few rules that I have made for myself in order to stay away from such trouble: one of this is to never join any program that requires me to invest money upon account activation. You see, it doesn't make any sense at all. I will be joining the site in order to earn and having to pay actually contradicts that goal so I avoid them.

Next, I also avoid PTCs because they're too much trouble. Next, before joining a site I make sure that I read about it a little from other people's experiences - through forums and personal blogs, etc.
