Bowling: What's your highest score?  | | | | | | | | | | | 1. kalenastar (55) | 7 months ago |  I started bowling when I was 11 bc my dad put my sisters and I in a bowling league. Fortunately, we actually enjoyed it! It also took me about 4 years to break the 200 mark. My highest score I've ever gotten is 211, but that was like 8 years ago! I need to get back on those lanes! I don't want to know how bad I've probably gotten, hahaha.

| | 3.  trekkiemelissa (153) | 1 month ago |  2 weeks ago, I hit a 196. That is 4 pins away from a perfect 200 game. I messed up in the tenth frame so I was 4 pins shy of 200. Little by little, I am getting closer to hitting a 200 game. I have an average of 120.
This week, I am getting a new ball, so hopefully my game will improve. It will be a dedicated hook ball. Lets hope I can throw a hook with it. I know it will take time to get it working the way I want it.
I bowl every week in a bowling league.

| trekkiemelissa (153) | 1 month ago | No, I already have my own ball. Its time to get a new one for me. Its a ten year old ball, but does its job. Its not dedicated to bowling a hook with though. Its a great spare ball for picking up spares. I didn't throw hooks when I bought it in high school. The new ball is going to be an ebonite brand ball. I am going a bit higher in weight, but it should not be to bad.
Right now, my ball I have angled at 11 O'clock and twist the ball a bit before throwing it. Its hard to explain but it helps for throwing, but most of the time I can bowl good. | |
