Do you use the library? What do you borrow? Books? Cds? Films? It is possible to borrow cds and films at the libraries in your country? Here in Denmark there is a music library in some of the big cities, but the small libraries usually have books as well as cds and films. I have never used the music library, but I often borrow cds at my local library. My husband doesn't read much, but he uses the library a lot anyway, because he borrows many films.

I mostly borrow books as well. I used to borrow cds, but I don't really listen to cds anymore.

From my local library in the USA, I usually borrow books. Lately I've been borrowing a few season of some tv shows and I might look into some films that they have to borrow. I know my library doesn't have a music library but I really like the idea of having one.

I also think that music libraries is a great thing. The library in the town where I used to live had a lot of cds. I often borrowed the new cds there, and if I liked them I bought them myself. Sometimes I was very happy that I borrowed the cds instead of buying them, because I didn't always like them.

We used to borrow alot of movies from the library but then my daughter lost one in our house somewhere (still haven't found it over a year later) and that was a mint to buy for the library. Hubby used to borrow CD's. We borrow books ths summer for the reading program and are mssing one I may end up buying that one if it doesn't turn up.... GRRR. I think I'm better off buying them at the thrift store than to pay a mint to replace them at the library.

In our country not all the libraries are having cds and films. There are separate libraries for books and separate CD lending libraries for renting out cds, dvds and films. However a few libraries have both books and cds of educational or literary subjects and not films.

I used to go to the library all the time! Then I bought a Kindle. Now I'm so spoiled reading on my Kindle that I just can't bring myself to pick up regular book! The libraries around here don't have a very good selection of movies of music, so they really aren't worth going to for that.
