Cristiano Ronaldo: from ManUnited to Real Madrid... A record-breaking buy-out!

Hi imacRuel1, I read it before 5 minutes. I did not see that coming!!! I was astonished to hear that they accepted the deal but sometimes when you see 80 million euro you cannot say no. By the way he is now most expensive player in football, more than zidane which was about 73 million. I am a supporter of F.C Barcelona and many Barcelona fans are afraid of Kaka & Cristiano Ronaldo but I am not because before 3 years they had best players in the world that time like Zidane,Ronaldo (brazilian), Roberto carlos, etc. and they did not play good and won nothing for three years.

With a world record fee in the region of €94m agreed, it is widely expected that negotiations with the player - who asked to leave, despite promising to stay all season - will not be protracted. The deal is expected to be concluded by the end of the month, if not sooner.
An official Manchester United statement read, "Manchester United have received a world-record, unconditional offer of £80 million for Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.""At Cristiano's request - who has again expressed his desire to leave - and after discussion with the player's representatives, United have agreed to give Real Madrid permission to talk to the player."Matters are expected to be concluded by 30 June. in my opinion, Cristiano ronaldo now an for next time will never increase the skills. because it was gain a diminishing return level of his skills. I think is the best option to sell cristiano ronaldo during his good level market price. and i think It doesn't effect the english club absolutely.

I don't think CR deserve that price. The price should be much lower than that. There is a lot more player better then CR. Kaka is a good bargain for Real but totally not CR. He is where you will waste your hard earn money.

I don't think this will effect how MU operation. This team is build on team not on 1 single player. (But I really hope that they will be effected badly ... since I am Liverpool fan:))

As the best player in the word he deserves even more than this value, and this value with certainty and will help a lot to Manchester United.

if the president of manchester doesn't make stupid things as joan gaspart did when real madrid stole figo to barça using the same dirty tricks that tried with ronaldo then manchester can make a very strong team, about the strengh of the "galacticos 2" i think they will sank as titanic did because you can have stars but if you don't have a team you can't aspirate to win the triple crown. at least cristiano ronaldo will not sufer the fury of pepe and his super kicks XDD

Ronaldo is a great player but he never seemed to show up in the big games for United. Messi is much better than Ronaldo. Some say that the La Liga is now the best league in the world but they only have 2good teams while the EPL has good teams across the board. United can use the money from Ronaldos departure to at Ribery, who is a great team player..unlike Ronaldo

ronoldo does not deserve such a high transfer fee...it might affect united as he was a good goal poacher..
