Have you tried the 5 hour energy?

I wa sitting at my desk this afternoon and it was like 3pm - I was so tired - work has been very busy ...knock on wood ...i work in insurance... i felt like i was going to fall asleep at my desk . When I am tired i take those 5 hour enerfy shots . I usually drink only half the bottle one once at a time or i feel to hyper and I talk alot and giggle - which isn't does't make the best work environment . I stopped drnking soda because I am watching my weight and this has half the calories as can of soda. What do you do to stay energized? Can anyone stay excited with our economy the way it is?

I have never heard of a 5 hour energy shot. What are the ingredients? I usually have a Redbull or espresso coffee if I need an afternoon energy boost.

Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Niacin, Folic Acid, Citicoline, Tyrosine, Phenylalanine, Taurine, Malic Acid, Glucuronolacone & caffeine . The tast is horrible ( the orange isn't to bad) and it is a little costly but it gives you the energy . I wouldn't recomend taking it all the time - beacuse it gives you the jitters at first - then it goes away

That sounds like it has fairly similar ingredients to Redbull. You're not supposed to have more than 2 of those a day (according to the can) I guess some people are more sensitive to caffeine than others, but I don't really get jittery when I have Redbull, unless I have like 4 in a row lol.

I never tried 5 hour energy shot before. I have not heard about it until now you post this topic. I think it's not available in my country yet. The effect is very disturbing if you get hyper and giggle a lot. Not nice if you are in a work place.

I used to either have Monster or Red Bull, which is my favorite energy drink.
Hmm, Maybe I can give this a shot sometime. I don't drink these too often in any case.Gosh, getting all hyper like that, did you do something funny? lol . Just kidding. thumbup
