listening of radio ceylon in seventies

hi mylotters,
is there any mylotters listened radio ceylon in the early seventies of 20th century, radio ceylon is a popular radio for hindi music,iam fond of listening radio ceylon from 0700 hrs , there are lot of interesting programmes of hindi film music,i am carrying my portable radio where ever i go for tour, my friends also very interested in listening radio ceylon,please share your views with me about radio ceylon,if any one have recorded programmes of that period or from where can i get the recordings of those programmes

Listning of Radio Cylone in the early seventees, was having its own sweetness and thrill of its own. It was known in those days, which are free from violance, which were full of freindly people arround the globe, in my child-hood i.e. in arround 1970, Cylone was only world (internationally) freindly contry, it for the benifit of the Hindi lovers airing Hind music, songs etc. Actually those are days of more love, more friendship, compassion amoung them self, for the love of peace amoung each other. Those are days of freindly atmospere for the music lovers, Radio Ametuers, for traders having international business. I am sorry, the magic of love still there, but the terrorism limiting the boundaries of love of international brother-hood, freindship.

"Radio Ceylon" certainly was a very popular radio station. I used to listen to it almost every day. But, if I remember correctly, they also had programs in English. I listened to those programs in the English language, beautiful music and songs ! I did not make any recordings of those. Yes, I should have. That would be a very valuable collection !

I also grew up listening to radio srilanka from 1970 onwards. I loved the voice and style of the announcers very much. Now I miss them very much. I also look for the recordings of that time. I have some 8-10 tapes of recordings after 1990. You may respond to me at joyousforyou@yahoo.com
