mylotters, as i have said before i am a huuuge fan of science fiction. now in particular i would like to hear from anyone who is a fan of star wars, star trek and terminator. this is the extent of my fascination with these shows and movies:
star wars, i am a fan of all the movies i do favor the original trilogy more though, i am impressed by the fact that they managed to do so much with so little and a really small budget, and those special effect without CGI. i am all about the star wars universe too. this universe encompasses the graphic novels, the tv show clone wars and the series of books. i have read about well 30 books and novels so far and counting.
star trek oh where to begin, i love star trek, star trek voyager, the new generation, enterprise and deep space nine. i love them all and have watched them all, a friend and i watched the whole voyager series, 7 years worth of episodes over a period of 3 or so months it was awesome, every night was star trek night and we would watch like 5 - 7 episodes per day. the original series is pretty awesome too, gotta love those special effects. when it comes to the movies to be honest i still need to play catch up with those. i did however watch the latest installment which i absolutely loved, they were spot on with the younger versions of the older characters. captain luc picard and kirk and janeway are my favorite starship captains.
terminator, awwwww yes one of my most favorite movies on the planet, i love the whole idea and concept, i always did say that the machines would take over, that those scientists with their experiments will be the death of us. the original movie of course is the best one, that scene where the terminator just appears in a pall of smoke, yes the governator himself, that was one iconic moment right there, and he is one of my favorite villains of all time, he is up there with darth vader and darth sidious. i love the tv show too the sarah connor chronicles because it sort of fills in the gaps for us between the movies. i am as yet to see the latest movie installment and i am looking forward to it. sarah connor has always been one of my heroes.
so like i said i would love to hear from you so i can talk about some of my most favorite things in the universe, i hope to hear from you soon :)

I am a Classic Trek fan, Star Wars, the original trilogy did more for me than the new ones and not a terminator fan (tho do like "Arrnold".)
I am a science fiction fan, I read SF/F books and even have written some stories - tho not published.
so, do you like only the video worlds or do you read the "real" science fiction - NOTE: I put that in quotes because I do consider the non-print media a valid form of SF.

Yes, I've seen the movie, rather liked it too. Liked all the aliens on the first space ship that George Kirk was on (thought we needed more aliens on the Enterprise, but I do understand why they weren't there - make up what it was at the time.)
my stories - I've got a couple here on the "lot", let me send links...

ha ha well i read a lot and if i am not reading horror i am reading sci-fi, books and graphic novels too. heinlein blows my mind, i cannot believe that he wrote starship trooper in the 60's man was a visionary. i love star trek so very much, i was watching classic star trek this weekend past. not too long ago i watched an episode of deep space nine that intersected with the star trek episode with the tribbles. it was awesome. did you watch the star trek movie trek yet?

Yeah I like all three as well. I like all the Star Wars movies but prefer the original trilogy as well. I'm afraid when it comes to Star Trek I'm really only a fan of the original cast. But I never really watched the original series. I became a fan with the first couple of movies. To me it's just not Star Trek if it doesn't have Kirk, Spock, Bones, McCoy and all the others. And I just went last night and saw Terminator Salvation. I liked it. I thought it was a very interesting addition to the movie series.

oh i do so love the original star trek series, you should really check it out. they are like the progenators, awesome they did so much with so little. i am looking forward to watching terminator salvation i recently read a book that sort of bridged the gap and explained the whole skynet to me and why the computer decided to become psycho and how all that came about, if you are a reader check it out the book is called T2 THE FUTURE WAR by SM STERLING who also wrote 2 other books T2 RISING STORM and T2 INFILTRATOR. thanks for getting back to me :)

i love it all and well they did not have the CGI that is so commonly used jut lately, it is like the original star wars trilogy, when i found out how it was shot and the budget i was stunned, george lucas is my hero.

i'm adding you as a friend
i love star wars, star trek and terminator 2, and also obsessed with scifi, there's no genre better than that because movies, books and etc should be about imagination and no genre go as far as scifi, now sw and st are pieces of art, very unique and i think changed the world
