did you ever laugh when someone told you how bad their day was....

Yesterday, I couldn't stop laughing...and I felt so bad. I called up my girlfriend to say "Happy Birthday", and asked her how her day went..she proceeded to tell me... It seems that when she got home from work, before picking up her kids at school, she realized that someone had broken into her house and stole some money that was raised in a baseball league fund raiser...so upset as she was, she had to hustle to pick up her kids, and as she was speeding down the street, she got stopped by a cop for speeding, but unfortunately, they also discovered that her license had expired. She then was told to leave her car where it was, and they brought her back to the police station, so she could get someone to pick her up, and she left the police department after paying a fine, and having to have someone else drive the car home for her. Her family had also spoke to earlier that week, telling her that they would celebrate her birthday on the weekend, instead of the weeknight that it was on, but when they found out what a horrible day she had had, they all decided to surprise her that night. Now...my friend lives at the end of a long dirt driveway, with no street lights. So as her family all piled up in their cars, and drove to her home, they proceeded to turn down her driveway. Unfortunately, along the way, they heard a thump...and discovered that they had run over her dog and killed it! Oh my God! I didn't know whether to cry for her or to laugh. It was just so unbelieveable...
