Search Engines

Google is the most powerful search engine that there is. If you can't find what you are looking for, maybe you are using the wrong search terms. You can put phrases in quotes or use plus (+) and minus (-) signs to help refine your search.

Different search engines have different search methods resulting in different results. Other than the three you mentioned you may try
1) www.Mamma.com
This site gives a result which is slightly different than Google. This site has been arund long before Google and still keeps to its search criteria instead of succumbing to pressure.

2) www.Dogpile.com
It now has a nice interface and seems to filter results from the major search engines.

3) www.Bing.com
The latest offering from Microsoft. Fast, but like Google gives duplicate listings.

4) www.Scour.com
Paid to search site. Filters results from Google, Yahoo, and MSN. We do not have to go through all the listings to find what we want.

5) www.tafiti.com
Gives a different experience in searching for websites. Geared more towards entertainment linked websites. In a way it is good because it gives us the option to collate. Unfortunately it requires a powerful computer due tp the use of graphics and video.

There are niche websites but I have lost the links after I had a computer breakdown.
