People with sweet mouth but bad heart

There are some people that are bad hearted. They always are looking for chances to gain benefits from others that they don't really mind hurting others either emotionally or physically if it is for their own good. I also want to take more benefits from others but if it means hurting others, I just can't allow myself doing.
But there are some other things I want to ask. While these people are bad hearted, some appears exactly as they are but some have sweet mouth. So which one you prefer more if you have no choice but to deal with either of them?

It's a communication skill. They maybe nice on the face but cursing you inside. Worst, some might carry and spread stupid rumors about you. Don't let this kind of people let you down. Other people already know you so they can judge whether the story is correct or own. Someday, this kind of people will have a taste of their own medicine.
