In Bram Stoker's Dracula, does Dracula ever talk about his views on being a vampire?

I don't think he really has views on being a vampire, it just seems normal for him, though I guess he is lonely, living in the castle by himself, which is why he seems to enjoy Harker being there. It is a good novel, I read it quite recently and I am a big fan of the film versions too.
