TGI Fridays  | |  My fiancee and I went to TGI Fridays tonight and boy was I really disappointed. We did end up going late - it was around 9:30pm. When we got there they would only seat us in the bar, even though there were other people in the dining room. Normally I wouldn't care but they had the music so loud in the "bar area" that we couldn't even hear ourselves talk.
The food was below average. I actually had a hard time even finding something on the menu that sounded good.I ended up with a crappy cheeseburger and the bun was so stale and hard! It ended up breaking apart after the second bite. So I just ate the beef and veggies out of the burger, with my fork. Their food is really overpriced compared to similar restaurants like Applebees.
It's really unfortunate because about 6 or 8 years ago, I loved going there with my family. Now, I feel like it has gone way down hill.
Are any of you fans of TGI Fridays? The last time you were there - were you impressed?

| | | | | | 1.  muscles4me (8950) | 7 months ago |  It has been a long time since I have been to either TGI's or Applebees but I know I liked Applebees better. TGI's should have a corporate office and I would send them a letter and let them know. I hate loud music and if the music is too loud when I alk in someplace and its not crowded I will ask if they can turn it down just a little. If they say no I usually leave. 9:30 is not late for a restaurant like TGI's so I can not figure out why they placed you in the bar. Maybe one of the waiters for the dining side had to leave early?? Perhaps they stopped seating people in the dining area at 9pm? If I am going to spend that kind of money at a restaurant i will pick Tuckers Steak House because it is never loud there. The steaks are really good too.
