Why Is It So Hard To Find Creative Items With Canadian Flags On Them?   

That is strange - I would think in Canada you would find all kinds of things geared towards Canada. Maybe just us bragging Americans pawning our stuff off where ever we can :) Maybe you could start a new trend - purchase plain scarves and paint them Canadian (of course Made in America would be fine).

Go to the local tourist trap..I am sure you can find some Canadian flag accessories there. Hit Niagara Falls, that is where I would buy my son's hockey patches..the canadian & american flags, we could never find those in the states. Or you can try this website

you best bet is to go to the tourist souvenir shops, there are all kinds of things around here, do they have them in quelph?

My response to this is two fold. A, you aren't really looking to hard. Most any gift shop in Canada, has all sorts of this stuff. I personally like wal-mart right now, they have a 6 or 12 foot banner, I think I am going to tie to the roof rack of my Caravan. B, Americans are known for their higher level of egotism, I think most of this is fallacy, but with that in mind, it wouldn't be to hard to see why they put their flag on everything.

The other thing you could do is, purchase, Patches either sew or Iron on and attach them to what ever item you wish to make into a patriotic symbol. Have a great 1st and fourth of July. Cheers.
