I was wondering how much you would be willing to pay a vet to take care of your dog, cat, or whatever animal? My puppy got hit by a car and broke her bone above the knee and is having a rod put in. She will be having surgery in the morning. This is going to cost over $1000.00 dollars to have done. so what are you willing to pay for your animal if it was hurt?

Thanks for asking. She is still at the vet. She will be having her surgery in a few. I will keep you posted on how she is. Have a BLESSED DAY!

Since the vet bills are not income tax deductible, I would not pay more then $500 unless it would do the animal good, would improve its condition, and it were not going to die anyway and also if I were a pet breeder since I sort of love dogs and if I were to inherit a puppy mill, I would make arrangements with the local vet to check the puppies after I made it more doggy friendly, you know long places for them to run around in, people volunteering to walk the dogs, etc. and I would not whant the buyer of the puppies get a lemon or a sick animal and I would get sued. But if it were a family pet, and there were no way that the fixer upping would do it any good, no way. With your dog, it seems that the surgery would help her and it would be worth it.
