Do you keep your rooms curtained?

I draw the curtains partially in my living room.
In my bedroom I leave the curtains open. I only draw them if I need to sleep or if its too bright and hot outside.

I like to have sunlight come in. It just lifts my spirit!

I keep my room curtained all the time. I can't help it. The fist thing my mom does upon entering my room is to start opening all the curtains only to have me close it right behind her. Then she lectures me on how keeping the rooms curtained is bad.
I know its not good for health to keep room curtained all the time but i like it that way. I feel very uneasy when its open. But then in living room, where i spend the most of my time; when in home, the curtains are always open. There, i like it that way.
And yes i think that by keeping rooms curtained we are keeping us from world and nature. Specially the sunlight. You see in my room the sunlight is blocked by the neighbor. Also the neighborhood is very close with their windows facing mine. So i curtain my room and also don't prefer to stay there. I am always found in living room. Because of that i don't think my mother needs to worry about my health.

Hi dhawanbm, i do have curtains in my room for I sew it personally and I love to change it every week. I love different colors of curtain same with bed sheets and pillow case, I love to have flowery design for I feel like I am in the middle of a beautiful garden. Sunlight can easily pass on my window for I chose light materials for curtain. maybe all women loves to have curtain at their own home. thanks God bless.

I use to place the curtain in the window in both living room and bedroom, because of the weather condition in our country sometimes hot and sometimes cold, if it is very hot i use to tie the curtain for the fresh air to circulate in the room, the style of my curtain was very long and the color was white with the design of leaves, and to look organize and pleasant home.

In my home, we use blinds. During the day, we keep them open but at night we close them because we turn on our lights.
