Dhoni's play and behaviour in T20 Worldcup 2009 was intriguing. His batting style and promoting himself to play a longer innings came under attack. Is Dhoni taking himself very seriously now than say the last T20 World cup? Is he trying to get into the league of Sachin, Rahul and Saurav? Promoting himself to No3 position and trying to play a longer innings indicates he is trying to play like the big3 of indin cricket? His usual "Dhana Dhan" cricket was just a shadow. Is he paying the price for trying to do something that is not his natural style? Otherwise, there is no explanation why he was playing "Test cricket batting" especially against West Indies. The shocking for fans was that he didn't try to hit the balls! And to add to that, he didn't use Irfan Pathan, RP Singh. Though Ishant is a good bowler he has lost form that was glaringly evident the way he bowled in IPL. Was Dhoni being "Stubborn" in this series? So many questions! It is amazing how defeats and failure bring the drawbacks to the fore.
