| my daughters, age 7 and 16 just love the bee gees  | | | |  It all started when my husband brought home with him a DVD of one of the bee gees concert latest concert when Maurice Gibb was still alive. You wouldn't expect that my two girls would be interested in it considering their songs are rarely heard on the radio nowadays, except maybe for some remake songs like the " How Deep Is your Love," "Emotion" and "Smile". But from then on early in the morning either my seven-year-old or my teenage daughter would seize the DVD and play it on. I just could not help but be amused when my young daughter would mimic Barry's voice and sometimes that of Robin Gibb. Amazing huh? Among their favorites are the trio's rendition of Immortality with Celine Dion and Alone. It was such a good timing when my teenage daughter had an activity in class and they were asked to present any song about friendship. Alas! she texted me through my mobile phone and asked me to look for a copy of Run to Me. It's absolutely a song about friendship and relationship between a child and a parent. Really, that song is beautiful. My officemates laughed when I told them about my daughters' interest in the Bee Gees.

| | LOL. that is cool. we love Tragedy, Saturday Night and Staying Alive. Have you watched Grease, starring John Travolta, and Saturday Night Fever? These are the old movies wherein most of the songs in the soundtrack were done by the Beegees. My kids also watched these movies. My girls also liked the movies. Nowadays, Grease are often used by schools in their play, such as a broadway presentation. But maybe they would understand the play better if they watch the movie itself.
