Olá! Sei que poucos, ou talvez ninguém, vai compreender o que aqui está escrito... Mas, por curiosidade, resolvi começar uma discussão na minha língua materna, o português, para ver se haveria alguém por aqui no MyLot que entendesse, ou que também saiba falar! Se conheces a língua portuguesa, um grande olá, de onde és e como vieste aqui parar? So, how many of you understand what is written above?

Hi! Ola! I understand perfectly. Of course, we have to post in English. I was born in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal and moved to the US when I was 7 years old. I go back frequently and most of my family still lives there. Found a link to MyLot on a website and just joined. Love all the discussions about Portugal. Take Care and Good Luck!

Hi,i understand what wrote but i don't speak portuguese instead can speak spanish which is somewhat close to that.But love the language been meaning to start learning since last year.cheers

since you already speak spanish, portuguese should be quite easy for you. It's a complicated language, but it's very beautiful too.

i wish it was easy just as you say it ;) but the reading is very difficult as what you see is not how it reads.But love the sounds of it.Well if i had a friend could have been more easier.cheers to u again.Do you speak spanish too?

well, I live near the border, so I speak spanish, but I don't not perfect spanish, since I've learned it mostly from watching spanish tv and trips to spain :)
