| Fathers day... your relationship with you father  | | | |  Normally when i think of the interest relationships I think of romantic relationships but this is a bit different. So for those of you who normally see me talk about love of my man under relaiontionship forgive me.
I would like to talk about the relationships you have with your father. Father's Day is a few days away. My sister seems to be struggleing with this holiday altogether. I, on the other hand feel I need to do somthing specail for my dad. My sister and I share the same father but he was a real dad to me and she did not get to build a strong bond with him. So for us father day is a odd topic.
I understand why its hard for my sister to express her self on this holiday and i belive my sister understand why it means something to me to do somthing specail on a holiday like fathers day.
What will you being doing this father's Day? and, OR Is this holiday one you enjoy celebrating or one you think is a waist hallmark card.

| |  I am very close to my father, so Father's Day is special for me. I am the oldest, and the oldest girl, and while he doesn't play favorites, I think I am still Daddy's girl. But I am disappointed this year, because I can't afford an expensive gift, which makes me sad. What makes me even sadder is that I have to work on that day, so I won't even be home with him.

| |  Because i am ur sister i believe that i can reflect on this. I would love to celebrate fathers day but when i think back i always have to wonder whether he has deserved a special day. I think that people who have truely did great things are the ones who deserve a special day. i love daddy, but as i slowly begin to forgive dad for he hurt he has caused me i still cant move on certain things so fast. I do understand why u want to do something, and it wouldnt look right if his other daughter wasnt there to celebrate fathers day so maybe we can put our heads together when u get home from work and think of something to do. Hopefully we can do somehting even if we cook dinner for him or something ya know. I am strugglin wit this hoiday and im gonna need time to be okay with this holiday. I jus hope that by the time im ready it wont be too late
