Is anyone working on Mturk? What do you do with the money you earn?  |

 I have been in Mturk for about 15 days, you can earn quite fast, but, you can only redeem to a bank account in the USA or in India, I am not in any of those countries, so the only option I have is to redeem to Gift certificates from Amazon.com, so my big question is, what can you buy with those gift cards? I shall wait to earn, something like 400 U$S so it´s worth the purchase? What do you do? Any suggestion?

I think the reason why the countries that they ship money to is so limited is because they don't want to get caught up or be under suspicion of money laundering. I'm not really sure.
I was using mTURK back in the day - and I didn't make as much as you did. But I'm from the US - so I don't have this problem.

2.  batakitten (128) | 7 months ago |  I'm from the US so I don't have this problem. I like Mturk a lot but I wouldn't bother with it if you can't cash out I guess. I haven't had much time to get on their though. I have been working with another site called ciao and I am earrning faster there. I spend 20 minutes there and earn 2.00 thats almost a full time job in the US. If you are interested check out my website under "reviews"
As for mturk is there no way you can set up an online bank account in the US?

I was on Mturk once - however, I'm also from the US so I don't have this problem. It's up to you whether you want to make that $400 and staying knowing that you probably will not see the cash - but will only see the material of whatever it is you decide to buy.
