I was looking at a travel guide and saw a stunning photo of cherry blossom in the spring time. I would love to fly to Kyoto if I could make my budget stretch. I have heard Japan is beautiful but very expensive. Have you been to Japan? What did you like seeing most of all?

It's really hard to pinpoint what my favorite experience visiting Japan was, but something so simple as seeing an old Japanese woman riding down the busy streets of Tokyo was enthralling. I just loved every bit of it. As far as it being pricey, it's not too brutal. The plane ticket was a $900 ticket from Vancouver Canada to Narita, Japan. But I was able to stay there for two weeks on roughly 2,200 dollars (plane ticket included in that price). Hotels can be as low as 15 bucks a night! And food isn't that bad either. Trains can be a bit pricey, but if you look into the JR Pass for foreigners, it's not too bad!

hehe, i only have gone to Kyoto several times, Kyoto is an old and beautiful city, not very expensive, Tokyo such a big city is rather expensive, if you like Japanese antiquities, you should visit Kyoto, well, the season of Sakura Hanami(See cherry blossom) is Mar.to April in general, you can see very many petals fly and fall on the floor as snow with slight sweet smell. Enjoy yourself in Japan!
