Both my sister and my friend are having surgery tommorow, so I plan to be sending positive thoughts to each of them as I pray for their recovery. My sister has had a rough couple of years due to being in kidney failure, but she has improved since she went on dialysis about a year ago. She is hoping to receive a kidney in the near future. My friend for sixteen years suffered a light stroke a few weeks ago and it requires that she have surgery to clean out the artery in her neck. She just turned 50 a couple of weeks ago and is raising two grandchildren.Would you all keep them in your thoughts?

I wish them all the best. Today my cat was neutered so that was our surgery in the family.

My thoughts go out to you and your loved ones. Its tough enough to have one loved one but two must be terrible. Your sister will get everything she needs. I have faith. I lit two candles at mass today for your loved ones. I will keep them in my prayers. Good luck to them and to you. and God Bless. I only wish I had a good friend like you in my life. Thanks for sharing dl

When you get to be my age, dloveli, people will sometimes suddenly start leaving you. I no longer take any of my loved ones for granted. Thank you.

I have spoken to both of them over the phone this evening, Aurone, and they are keeping a positive outlook. Thanks.
