White-black photos or color photos? what kind you like more and why?

I know a lot of people look at black and white photos are like art but I much prefer color especially when they are sharp and bright, but then I don't like black and white movies either where a lot od people do... fro me colour colour colour

I think it depends on the picture. I went to this one place where the apartment buildings were painted very vibrant colors. I got some great photos of them and the colors really pop. I have also taken photos of older houses and other buildings that are not necessarily colorful. I converted them to black and white and they looked amazing. One of my favorire subjects to photograph is the sky. I look for interesting cloud formations and try to take pictures at dawn or dusk when the sky has different colors. In this case color is the winner. So it really depends on the subject. But I admit that I am fond of black and white photos.

Colored pictures are nice to see when the photographer wants to portray something that portrays action, such as a picture of a drag race; or something like adventures. On the other hand, white and black is best used when someone wants to portray an emotion, affect or feelings.

As art form i like a lot black and white photos, but as real imagines, i like color photos, are more realistic. I like a lot old pictures, from my grandparents, who all are black and white, are so romantic, i don t know..have something very special.

I think it depends! I prefer Black and white to emotional or expressive pictures, because the BW transmits the message! But color photos are much better for the majority of the nature pictures, for example, where the colors brings life to the picture!
