OUCH!!! Ciao.com is GOING AWAY :( WARNING to members...

June 17: the news came. Ciao.com is gone starting July 1st. And as of yesterday they do not give any more compensation for ratings, referrals, or anything else. 
There are two reasons why I think this website failed
:
1.Abuse. It's amazing how cheats flooded Ciao with poor quality reviews, copied reviews, multiple accounts, spam, and pretty much everything else. There was no way to keep up with it.
2. The Ciao Admin. They should have seen this coming. For at least the past 9 months the abuse has been steadily increasing. They should have taken some action long ago.
It was a wonderful paid to review website, with one key problem: abuse. Otherwise it was my favorite and top earning site. I made $78.05 there,
most of that in the past 3 months . Ciao is not a scam, they are just a failed review site.
WARNING to all CIAO members:
Log in to your account and manually copy and paste your reviews. You must back them up or you will loose them, by July 1st. Tell your friends goodbye there or find out what other sites they have joined.
With Ciao gone, I have lots more time to do things at other sites I've been neglecting. So while it's really shameful this happened, I don't see myself loosing out too much. There are other places to pick up the slack.

Its a sad thing, but we will move on. There are plenty of sites that we can write on. Product reviews don't have to be isolated to product review sites either. Some of my reviews may end up over at squidoo, or hubpages and so on.

I agree with you.CIAO dunno have any system for preventation of cheating.Otherwise it was really a good site to earn money.I am sad that they have closed it now.I hope they will come with new structure and new site.Well just HOPE!!
MY account has been closed for up to 3 months now.They closed it without any prior notice.Latter almost 2 months after i got email saying that they have put regional restriction for better handling of site.They have informed me about my pending money there.I have about 7 dollars there and according to email i am going to get it in july.Finger cross!!!!
