travelling in the philippines

oh there are a lot of places to go in the philippines. There's boracay where they have white beaches, Vigan where you can see old spanish houses still intact as if time has stopped there, Baguio the summer capital in the philippines, Albay where you can see Mt. Mayon, Tagaytay, where there you can horseback ride and eat a number of sweets while viewing Taal Volcano, Cebu where the festivals are lively, Puerto Galera - a place that rivals boracay, Davao City where you can visit a number of zoos and visit a number of small islands with beaches and white sand, and many more!

Anywhere is affordable, really if I think about it. It's how you should be tactful about when asking. Try to research in the net and look for the places I've mentioned lol.

but seriously, it's sort of a bad time going to the philippines because it's rainy season; the weather can be light to worse here because numerous typhoons will come and go.

I believe that the best time to go to the philippines would be around september to may...june to august is the rainy season lol. Well, that's my opinion but the weather's pretty unstable because of global warming. Happy tripping here in the philippines!! Mabuhay!

I have stayed in Puerto Galera in Mindoro, the food, the rooms are cheap and the activities are really fun that is if you like the beach. There are several sports activities that you can choose from. And during the night life, people there are really nice, you will really have a good time. People there are accomodating and the food is also great.

Your profile says that you are in the Philippines. If you like to visit other places in the country, it really depends on your location or on your budget.

If you like to go to Luzon, you can visit Baguio, Tagaytay, Batangas, Laguna, Subic, Ilocos, etc.

If you like to go to Visayas (and adjoining islands), then Boracay (Aklan), Cebu, Bohol, and Palawan are amongst the favorite spots.

In Mindanao, you can visit Davao and Cagayan De Oro (Misamis Oriental). These are famous for local and foreign tourists alike.
