Never had the chance to Celebrate Fathers Day

This is the time of the year that I tend to feel a bit lost.. (To be honest) Father's day is just around the corner.. and every year I just wonder what he is doing, who he is? And other questions like that.. See I never have gotten the chance to meet my father or really have a male role model in my life to fill those shoes.. I just pray that one day I will be able to meet him.. But things that you pray for does not always happen.. Which is fine, there is some good reason I have not met him yet, and/or will never meet him.. My question for all of you out there, what kinds of things do you do for your Father on Father's Day? Or is it just considered another day in your book?

Father's day is taken less importance than mother's day and I quite dissaprove that when I see that there are many grandiose for the mother's day whereas for father's day there are less grandeur in either malls, hotels or in gifts you will buy. I have always try at home to celebrate father's day similar to that of my mother's day. So this time I will organise thatsame dinner party with different meals for my dad and I will buy him a beautiful gift though he is a bit annoyed with me right now but I am sure he still love me as before. I seize this opportunity to tell himthat I love him too and thanks for everything. I wish when you get a family of your own one day then your children will be glad with the love you will bring to them either on mother's day or on your husband's( father's day) .

Oh yeah if my father was around I would do the same for him as my own mother.. I do not think it is fair to treat one parent better then the other... Granted the mother did carry you for nine months, but a father does things for you that mothers try but can not fill the role.. But that is me guessing here.. I wish Father's day would be more important to everyone!

Never really have been able to celebrate Father's day with my father because he passed away when I was 6 years old. You may meet your father someday, one never knows what the future may bring..

This is very true, it would be nice... I have so many thoughts and questions for him... I guess the biggest one is, what does he look like.. And well mom says that i am a spilting image of my father, just wondering if its true or not... Also do I have other siblings out there... Yes it would have been awesome to meet Grandpa, he sounds like a wonderful man.. Someone that I admire even through he is not among the living..
