Do you use a web cam when you chat with family or freinds to net?

No, I don't have a webcam yet. I know I should have one, so that conversations will be more alive and closer. Thank you for reminding !

I do use camera when chatting on Skype with my family, but only is I look fresh. When I am tired or sick, I don't use camera. Web cam is not my favorite anyway...

I do have a webcam but I disconnected it because the computer that I'm currently using is quite old. The webcam software tends to run really slowly on it. I'll just have to wait until my main computer is fixed

Rarely that i use cam to talk to my family or friends because we are not communicating through chatting or online. We communicate through text messages and calls. I have webcam and i use it to communicate to my online friend only if they ask me to use it, but i don't use too if i do not know much my online friend. It takes time sometimes before i agree to use, If they don't i don't connect the webcam in the computer.

When chatting on the internet, I used to just char with words and the smileys available. But later on I bought a headphone and a web camera to chat on the internet. Sometimes it feels odd, that the other person is able to see you but you can't coz they don't have a web cam. But I enjoy the comfort it gives, when all the chat companions share the web cam and mic, it feels that all geographical distances have been reduced to just the distance between you and your PC. Its like everyones at home. What a technovention! Technological Invention.

yeah i have one and i sometimes use it to tlk to family but i mostly use it wen tlkin to my fiancee. I think its useful as it lets them see how healthy u are and if u want to show them anythin.

Yes, there are times that I use the webcam to get in touch with my friends and family. But it is not very often. Usually, I just settle for chat without using the webcam.
