How do I get this onion smell off of my hands?  |

 I was helping my mom make dinner and I chopped a few onions. My hands stink and I have washed my hands twice now, but hte smell won´t go away.
Is there anything I can do to make the smell go away?

1.  housemd (185) | 6 months ago |  Hi. Try soaking your hands in lemon or lime juice for a little while, and then wash them again. I have found that this actually works pretty well. I have also heard of people using tomato juice. I have never tried this though so I'm not too sure how well it works. Hope this helps, good luck:)

| housemd (185) | 6 months ago | Oh I also just remembered, you can also try making a paste out of either salt and cold water, or baking soda and cold water. Rub this all over your hands for about five minutes and then rinse. I have found this method also works quite well. | |

| penatio (8) | 6 months ago | That´s a good answer, and I´m going to tested the next time I use onion, or garlic, I bet that tip works as well with garlic.
I´m sure those tips will work just fine, because they´re experienced from some people, and even though you didn´t use it, has heared from someone using that, so I think it´ll work fine for me
