Does something someone says trigger a song in your head?

It is an annoying habit I have where someone will say something and I place their sentence within lyrics of a song and end up singing it for the rest of the day!
For example, my husband will say jokingly "Oh it's all about you isn't it?" and I'll start "It's all about you, It's all about you baby".
It happens all the time - in fact it's sure to happen today so I'll post whatever happens!
In the meantime let me know if this happens to you and if you find it annoying in yourself or others etc. x

Thanks hairypits! Now I have that song in my head:)! Yes this happens to me all the time. A common one I get is when I'm waiting for a bus and someone says "Here it comes" and I carry on with "my 19th nervous breakdown". Maybe when it happens for the 19th time I will have a nervous breakdown:)! It happens with other songs as well, like when someone mentions an umberella. Ahh!
I don't actually sing the songs out,I just get them stuck in my head.

music has a positive effect on all living beings. people are very closly related to music. if you are sad or stressed then music can help in positive way.
it many times happens that while talking to someone or while listening to some situation we remember some song related to that situation. many a times we don't even get an opportunity to sing the song. at times, the situational song gets adehered to lips and one keeps singing it untill one goes to bed.
lately this happen with me and the son was the oscar song 'jai ho'. i said jai ho to some one and then the whole day the song was on my lips untill i slept.
